One shirt, six ways

One of my favorite things about the set is how many different ways I can wear the oversized linen shirt. I still find myself styling it differently depending on the day.

Fully untucked is the easiest version, and probably the most classic way to wear it. Loose, relaxed, no thinking involved. But if I’m being honest, I usually reach for one of the tucks instead. It makes the whole outfit feel a little more interesting and intentional.

Some days I’ll do a half tuck, tucking in just one side. It’s a small thing, but it changes the whole shape of the outfit while still feeling just as easy.

Other days I’ll do a French tuck, with just the front tucked in and everything else left loose. It’s a nice middle ground between polished and relaxed, and it’s become one of my go-to looks when I want to feel a little more put together.

I also love wearing it unbuttoned over a tank top or sports bra. It becomes more of a layer than a shirt at that point, great for throwing on over a workout outfit or when it’s a little cooler out.

And of course, it doubles as a swim cover-up. The oversized fit and lightweight linen make it easy to wear unbuttoned over a bathing suit, and I’m set for the beach or pool without needing to pack anything else.

But the one I didn’t expect to love as much as I do is wearing the linen shirt completely on its own with a pair of trousers or jeans. It goes from beachy to put-together in seconds, and it’s become one of my favorite ways to wear it to work or dinner.

Shoes and accessories change the whole feel of it, too. Flat sandals keep things easy and low-key, while a heeled sandal dresses it up a little. My go-to combination lately is my Birkenstocks with my Terrain Cotton Crusher Hat in powder white.

All from one shirt. That’s what I love most about it.
