The meaning behind cosay

cosay was inspired by my daughter. When she was about a year and a half old, she started saying this little word she had made up: cosay. Over time, cosay became a person, an imaginary friend who would pop up in her stories and conversations.

I loved the sound of the name, but even more, I loved imagining who cosay could be: confident, curious, creative, kind, and playful. Someone comfortable being herself, with a sense of adventure and a bit of wonder.

That spirit became the inspiration for the clothing brand I’m building here in Brooklyn.
