How it all started
Two summers ago, I had a few linen sets made for me in Vietnam and quickly found myself living in them.
I loved the oversized silhouette, the dropped shoulders, the little details like the subtle pleating on the shirt, the curved hem of the shorts, and the way the whole set moved when I walked. They were lightweight and breathable, but what I loved most was how comfortable and effortless they felt. Nothing was constricting me, yet I always felt confident and put together.
I wore them everywhere. To the park, around the city, on weekends away, over a swimsuit, out to dinner. When I traveled, I would pack a few in different colors and patterns and barely have to think about what to wear.
I had also become a mom, and getting dressed simply wasn’t something I wanted to spend much time thinking about anymore. I had other priorities. These sets made it easy for me. I could throw one on, move around freely, go about my day, and still feel like myself.
Every time I wore them, I’d get compliments from strangers. The sets were love at first sight for me, so I didn’t need much convincing to want to create my own and share that feeling with other people. Whenever someone asked me about them, the idea came back to me that I should make these available. I wanted people to feel the way I did in them, if they got the chance to.
This summer, I decided to finally make cosay real. I started with a small batch in three colors: white, beige, and light blue. I hope you love wearing them as much as I’ve loved living in mine.
